'Absolute Garbage' es el primer disco recopilatorio de los éxitos del grupo. Incluye como primer single el tema inédito 'Tell me where it hurts', para un total de 18 canciones entre las que se encuentran 'Stupid Girl', 'Queer', '#1 Crush', 'Special', 'Bleed Like Me' y 'Why Do You Love Me'.
Tiene también una edición limitada en 2-CD, en la que el segundo disco incluye remixes de algunos de los más reputados DJs, como U.N.K.L.E., Massive Attack, Todd Terry, Crystal Method, Fun Lovin' Criminals, y Felix Da Housecat.
Aparte se publica un DVD por primera vez con los 15 videoclips de Garbage, incluyendo 'Vow', 'Only Happy When It Rains', 'Stupid Girl', 'Milk' y 'Queer'. Además de una hora de material de backstage y detrás del escenario nunca visto, actuaciones en directo y entrevistas.
